Return & Exchange Policy

At Nakshatra Trendlooms, we carefully inspect every saree before dispatch to ensure you receive your order in perfect condition. Since sarees are delicate and hygiene-sensitive products, we follow the return and exchange guidelines below.

1. Eligibility for Return or Exchange

A return or exchange may be requested only in the following cases:

• The saree received is damaged or defective.
• You received a wrong product, colour, or design compared with your order.
• The product has a manufacturing defect that was not visible or identifiable before dispatch.

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery if you notice any issue.

2. Unboxing Video Required

For damaged, defective, or incorrect products, customers must provide a continuous, unedited unboxing video clearly showing:

• The unopened package and shipping label.
• The package being opened.
• The complete saree and the issue with the product.

Claims without an unboxing video may not be eligible for return or exchange.

3. Conditions for Return

The saree must be:

• Unused and unworn.
• Unwashed and free from perfume, makeup, stains, or other marks.
• Returned with the original packaging, tags, blouse material, accessories, and other items supplied with the order.
• In the same condition in which it was received.

Sarees that have been worn, washed, altered, stitched, damaged, or used may not be accepted for return or exchange.

4. Non-Returnable Products

Returns or exchanges are generally not accepted for:

• Change of mind.
• Change of colour preference after placing the order.
• Incorrect size or blouse measurements selected by the customer.
• Products that have been altered, stitched, fall/picoed, washed, or worn.
• Minor variations in colour caused by lighting, photography, or differences between screens and actual products.
• Minor variations in handloom, weaving, printing, embroidery, or fabric texture that are inherent to the product.

5. Exchange Process

Once your request and supporting photographs/video are reviewed and approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product.

An exchange will be processed after the returned product reaches us and passes our quality inspection.

Exchange availability is subject to the availability of the requested replacement product.

6. Refunds

If an approved return is eligible for a refund, the refund will be processed through the original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected.

The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

7. Return Shipping

If the return is due to a wrong, damaged, or defective product, Nakshatra Trendlooms will arrange or reimburse the applicable return shipping, subject to verification.

For other situations where a return is approved at our discretion, return shipping charges may be borne by the customer.

8. How to Request a Return or Exchange

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

1. Your order number.
2. Clear photographs of the product.
3. A continuous unboxing video, where applicable.
4. A brief description of the issue.

Our team will review the request and respond with the next steps.

9. Important Note

Please inspect your package and product carefully immediately after delivery. We recommend keeping the original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your purchase.

Nakshatra Trendlooms reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange if the product does not meet the conditions stated above.
